Centralized user management and secure portals for Experimenta

Experimenta is Germany’s largest science center. With its reopening in March 2019, the renovated facility, which covers an area of around 25,000 square metres, offers its visitors a world of science and experience with a unique, scientific participatory exhibition with 275 exhibits, four creative studios, nine laboratories as well as an observatory and the Science Dome, a combination of a planetarium and theatre. During the renovation and relaunch of experimenta, the main focus was on on the digitalization of the exhibition worlds.

In order to protect the user data of the online portals from unauthorized access and also to equip the upstream processes, such as login, registration & payment of tickets, for the digital future, experimenta opted for our customer identity and access management solution – cidaas.
